This collection of photos is a visual documentation of 51 Personae from the 11th Shanghai Biennale in 2016. After a series of events spanning three months, both online and offline, involving urban spaces and individual knowledge and experience in the city of Shanghai, 72 photos were selected by the photographer (also deeply involved in organizing and participating in the project) . These photos capture 27 different scenes and characters, ranging from demolition sites in downtown Shanghai to rooftops of high-rise buildings on the outskirts, and even the rivers surrounding the city. It can also be used as glimpses of the city in 2016-2017, a transforming period when we look back today.

この写真集は、2016年に開催された第11回上海ビエンナーレの「51人のペルソナ」のビジュアルドキュメンテーションである。オンラインとオフラインの両方で、都市空間や上海市における個人の知識や経験についての3カ月間にわたる一連のイベントを経て、このプロジェクトの企画・参加にも深く関わってきた写真家によって72枚の写真が選ばれた。これらの写真は、上海市街地の解体現場から郊外の高層ビルの屋上、さらには都市を取り囲む河川に至るまで、27の異なる風景と人物を捉えており、2016年から2017年にかけての上海の姿を垣間見ることもできる。
