2019年6月以来、香港は世界のニュースで脚光を浴びています。香港内外の多くの人々にとって、非常に裕福で高度に秩序化された都市と、急進的な若者の運動を結びつけて考えることは難しいかもしれません。しかしながら、このシェアリングでは、戦後若い世代によって展開された香港の反体制運動の忘れられた歴史を紹介したいと思います。この研究では、独立出版物『隔月刊 70年代』を軸に、香港の独立系メディアや活動家グループによって作り上げられた、異議申し立ての空間としての1970年代香港の文化・芸術活動の未開拓の軌跡を探ります。視覚的なスタイルとその内容は、イギリスによる植民地主義と帝国主義、中国共産党によって規定された中国ナショナリズムと左翼主義、また主に資本主義に基づく消費主義と大衆的娯楽によって築かれた香港文化の政治的および文化的支配に対する抵抗を試みました。
Since June 2019, Hong Kong is at spotlight in world news. It might be difficult for many people both in and outside Hong Kong to associate the extremely affluent and highly ordered city with radical youth movements. This sharing, however, shows a forgotten history of Hong Kong’s anti-establishment campaigns by the young generation in its postwar history. Taking an independent publication, The 70s Bi-weekly as the main thread, this research investigates into an unexplored trajectory of Hong Kong’s cultural and art production in the 1970s that represents the making of a dissent space by independent press and activist groups in Hong Kong. The visual style and content tried to challenge the political and cultural dominance of British colonialism and imperialism, Chinese nationalism and leftism as defined by the Chinese Community Party, and a Hong Kong culture forged largely by capitalistic consumerism and mass entertainment.
Pan Lu（潘律）
香港理工大学中国文化学部の助教授。ベルリン工科大学（2008年〜2009年）、ハーバード燕京研究所（2011年〜2012年）での客員研究員および特別研究員を経て、福岡アジア美術館研究員（2016年）、国立台北芸術大学客員研究員（2018）を務める。著書に『In-Visible Palimpsest: Memory, Space and Modernity in Berlin and Shanghai 』（Bern: Peter Lang、2016）、『Aestheticizing Public Space: Street Visual Politics in East Asian Cities』（Bristol: Intellect、2015）がある。また、彼女の映画『Miasma、Plants and Export Paintings』（Bo Wangと共同監督）は、東京で開かれた第32回イメージフォーラム・フェスティバルで優秀賞を受賞した。
Pan Lu (潘 律) is Assistant Professor at Department of Chinese Culture, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She was visiting scholar and visiting fellow at the Technical University of Berlin (2008 and 2009), the Harvard-Yenching Institute (2011-2012), researcher in residence at Fukuoka Asian Art Museum (2016) and visiting scholar at Taipei National University of the Arts (2018). Pan is author of two monographs: In-Visible Palimpsest: Memory, Space and Modernity in Berlin and Shanghai (Bern: Peter Lang, 2016) and Aestheticizing Public Space: Street Visual Politics in East Asian Cities (Bristol: Intellect, 2015). Her film Miasma, Plants and Export Paintings (co directed with Bo Wang) received Award for Excellence, 32nd Image Forum Festival, Tokyo, Japan.
