In celebration of Spectacular Atrophy, there will be a performance by Berserk (Jared Xu) at Irregular Rhythm Asylum (Shinjuku) on October 13th (Friday). This open entry live demonstration begins at 8:00 pm. Some refreshments available. After it is finished, Jared will go home to Taiwan.
意象萎縮書展將有演出，Berserk（徐嘉駿）於Irregular Rhythm Asylum（新宿御苑前）十月十三號（五）。此演出晚上八點開始，現場提供限量酒水。
結束後，本音樂家立刻搭機回去台灣。

Equal parts event and publication, Spectacular Atrophy is a coordinated effort to fortify the arts and artefacts that have a chance to survive past this era of political and economic decay. So the leading question is of the ground below, of the seismic activities that shape topographies, the fault lines beneath the foundations of contemporary civilisation.

Starting in Taiwan and from there spiralling outwards, the long-term goal of Spectacular Atrophy is to become an example of a project that not only assumes a unique orientation to the world, but also one that demonstrates different pathways forward. In other words, the goal is to not only avoid falling prey to the self-implosions of a decaying civilisation, but also to find alternative methods of thriving through these times.
